Review of Freebie Force (freebieforce.com)

Freebie Force is a members-only website that links its subscribers to some of the best freebies on the Internet. For $9.95 per month, subscribers are granted access to their freebie links database. Freebie Force is one of the fastest growing freebie websites, with hundreds of new preenrollees joining every day.

What I Like:

  • TRUSTWORTHY. Freebie Force is listed with the Better Business Bureau and is highly regarded as an upstanding resource. Freebie Force claims to check each link to make sure it is free of viruses and spyware.

  • NO HIDDEN AGENDA. Since Freebie Force pays its own bills with subscription fees, it has no need to clutter its site with annoying advertisments. It also does not require any offers that must be completed in order to receive the free items.

  • EASY. The user interface is simple and clear. Freebies are accurately described along with any steps that must be taken to receive the items. In addition to links, Freebie Force includes a database of helpful information for getting addition free and highly discounted deals in everyday purchases.

  • COMPENSATION PROGRAM. Freebie Force offers a unique compensation program to all of its members. Simply stated, a member receives $1 each month for every new subscriber they refer. If a member refers 10 new subscribers, the monthly compensation is $10. If 100 subscribers are referred, $100 is earned each month.

  • NO CONTRACTS. Freebie Force subscriptions are charged on a month-by-month basis. A subscriber can cancel at any time.

What I Don't Like:

  • A $9.95 monthly subscription is still a chunk of money in these hard economic times. Freebie Force offers a three day money back guarantee, but three days is hardly enough time to really evaluate the site.

  • Freebie Force does not host any freebies itself -- it is a portal to businesses (like Walmart) and other organizations that are giving away free merchandise. It is possible to find all these freebies without the benefit of Freebie Force, but it would likely take a significant investment of time to do so.

Summary:

Even though this site requires a subscription fee (which I am normally not fond of), being a member of Freebie Force seems to be worth the cost. I literally check this site every day and have received hundreds of dollars worth in freebies. Freebie Force has earned a Freebie Critic Top Choice rating.

Review of Thunderfap (www.thunderfap.com)

Thunderfap is an ad-sponsored database of links to various freebies around the web.

What I Like:
LOTS OF REAL FREEBIES. I consider a "real" freebie to be one that does not require the user to complete any sponsor offers or anything like that. I found many links to real freebies on the web -- even some freebies that I did not find on other reputable freebie sites!
CATAGORIES. Freebies are listed in catagories like food freebies, household freebies, beauty freebies, etc. Thunderfap also has lists of freebies that other freebie sites do not usually have -- like blogger freebies, webmaster freebies, and freebie graphics.
NEWSLETTER. Thunderfap offers a free Sunday newsletter with listings of the most recent freebies available.

NON-INTRUSIVE ADS. Though ads are present on Thunderfap, they are not nearly as annoying as many other sites I have visited.

Summary: I give Thunderfap high marks for their diligence in finding real freebies to share with their visitors. This is a site to be bookmarked.

Rating: The Freebie Critic gives Thunderfap a rating of FIVE STARS. Click here to go to Thunderfap.

Review of Free Stuff Headquarters (freestuffheadquarters.com)

Free Stuff Headquarters is an ad-sponsored database of links to various freebies around the web.

What I Like:

  • LOTS OF REAL FREEBIES. I consider a "real" freebie to be one that does not require the user to complete any sponsor offers or anything like that. I found many links to real freebies on the web. There were a few links to "fake" freebies, but not many.
  • CLEAR CATAGORIES. On the home page is a clear list of catagories in which the freebies are located. Easy to find the type of freebies you are looking for.
  • GOOD QUALITY FREEBIES. Links to many of the same useful freebies that I have found on other sites like Freebie Force.

What I Don't Like:

  • LOTS OF ADS. Obviously this is an advertisement supported website, because the ads are everywhere. I found the clutter to be a bit annoying. Might also be confusing for less experienced freebie searchers who may have trouble discerning the ads from the real freebie links.
  • NOT UP TO DATE. Granted, Free Stuff Headquarters has lots of freebies listed, but if you look at the dates when these freebies were posted, you'll find they date as far back as seven or eight months ago. Not a lot of newly posted freebies. Probably not a site that you would need to check every day.

Summary: I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of real freebie links available on this website. Check it out and get as many of the back freebies as are still available. Then bookmark and check periodically to see if anything is new.

Rating: The Freebie Critic gives Free Stuff Headquarters a rating of FOUR STARS. Click here to go to Free Stuff Headquarters

Review of Free Fusion (freefusion.net)

Freefusion.net claims to be a web portal that connects its users to freebies across the Internet. I reviewed this site becuase I kept seeing their advertisements on almost every freebie search I conducted. I've even seen their PPC ads show up on my own website!

What I Like: NOT A WHOLE LOT. Probably the best thing I found was a link to www.top20free.com where I found a few links to sites that actually do offer real freebies.

What I Don't Like: Every single "freebie" link I clicked on sent me to other websites that claimed to give me freebies IF I first filled out information and completed a certain number of required offers. I've done this enough to know that those type of websites usually require you to fill out multiple offers and click though many pages of advertisements before they will give you anything free that they may have promised. The average person will give up after the third or fourth page of doing this. If a freebie website requires you to fill out sponsor offers before they give you anything free...then don't bother. It's not worth your time.

Summary: I was disappoointed by my experience with Free Fusion. With all the hype and advertising, I thought it would prove to be a valuable resource. Sadly I was wrong. My advice: visit if you want, but don't stay long.

Rating: The Freebie Critic gives Free Fusion a rating of ONE STAR.
